Uho za Oko formed in 2015 as a duo consisting of the vocalist Veronika N. Štefanec and the music master Tomaž 'Tomo' Božič.

They released their first and double self-titled album Uho za Oko in 2016 through their bandcamp page.

They both were DJs at Hellektro Parties at Channel 0 in Metelkova Street in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia where they both still live and create.

Veronika N. Štefanec also made music videos and published them on their official YouTube channel. In most of them, she was collaborating with Tina Pečavar and one of them containted the artworks of Tibor Bolha, a well-known Slovenian comic book artist. Veronika and Tina invited their friends to starr in their music video for Tired, which was quite a success.

After collaborating with an underground Russian online label Loli Will Noise, they got noticed by Synth-Me. They went for the chance and realeased their first EP, called Ill (Tik Tak). It included 4 singles, including 1 psychedelic remix.

They developed their band logo, an alchemical symbol with a Veronika's friend Iva Habjanič and her first tattoo artist Lina Sabari (Lina Noir Tattoo), who also had a music career.

Uho za Oko were interviewed by Radio Student for the first time in their native language.

They collaborated on different international music compilations and regained more acknowledgement.

The singer Veronika had an exhibition in Jalla Jalla, AKC Metelkova, which was titled Duh Starega Egipta ("The Ancient Egypt Spirit").

There they showed their mystical music video for the song Drugače which is spiritually thematized.

The exhibition lasted since 7th until 21st of February 2017.

Veronika N. Štefanec didn't want to go on with Tomo (Tomaž Božič). Their ideas of their future music progress were fighting with one another, so she went on with her project without him. She was also active as a music journalist on Radio Študent 89,3 MHz, so she met Vadim Fehrey from an undergound Russian duo Vile Flesh. Uho za Oko and Vile Flesh made a strange dark experimental song together. It was contained on Vile Flesh's album Hirm.

On Radio Študent 89,3 MHz, Veronika N. Štefanec befriended her coworker from the Music Redaction, Brigita Gračner, who was playing the synthesizer in a slovenian rock group Akami. They were talking about playing the music together, so Brigita also invited Urša Horjak, her guitar-playing friend over. Veronika met two musicians in Ljubljana's Guiness Pub, a bass player called Klemen Švikart and a drummer (and multiinstrumentalist) Simon 'Saš' Bezek. They started jamming all together and decided to take the Uho za Oko project on.

Uho za Oko had their first concert in a small club called Jalla Jalla in Metelkova Mesto, Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 24th of February 2017. They got invited to play in an art gallery by Nataša Ribič Štefanec (now Nataša Ribič, Slovenian professional painter and Veronika's mother), on an opening of her painting exhibition. They played at ZDSLU on March 2nd, 2017. They were all still very young. Veronika was 20 at the time, Klemen and Simon 'Saš' were both 19.

Their music video for Mirror, made by Tina Pečavar, was premiered in Kino Dvor by the end of May 2017.
